The Past

The last version of www.dunkelheit.at was mainly a personal experiment to find out what happens if I spread my thoughts across the world wide web. I had many interesting experiences, some with people that did agree with me and some who didn't.

A funny detail is that the latter aren't believing that the first ones exist. Some people would be kinda surprised, I'd guess …

For me, the design and idea of the last version was a conceptional breakthrough. But people evolve (well, some do), and soon I realized, the site wasn't dark enough for me, as pathetic as this may sound. After a huge server crash I decided to start a new chapter for the site.

The Future

This time I gave the command of the design to someone who knows how to do it. As you see it now, this design is created by Laetitia. The composition you see was originally inspired by David Lynch's Twin Peaks.

The backend is a self-designed CMS driven by Catalyst. I cut the nerd content off here, I'm sure most of you aren't interested in stuff like this, right?

The new site is, beside a few exceptions, full in english language. Though I'm not a native speaker, and will sure make mistakes, I think you'll be able to understand it.

As for the content itself, I want to fill this project with more intense content. Less flowered words. I will concentrate to say, what I want to say, as I want to say it. The previous version was a first experiment. The deeper contents of that one were mostly personal things. And, while I'm still keeping one focus of this site on personal information, I want to focus more on occult and metaphysical subjects.
